You cannot delete the client. First, you must make this an obsolete record by editing the Client ID # to something like “BAD ID 1.” Make sure no service contacts are entered for this record. If any service contacts exist, delete them. Then, open a new record under the correct client type and enter this client’s information. You may subsequently overwrite this obsolete record with a new client as described in the previous answer above.
